Hello Spring

We don't know about you, but we're tired of rainy, cold weather! So we're getting ready for spring!

Valentines Day is almost gone so hurry in to get the last of the Valentines fabric because we are moving on!

Saint Patricks' Day is calling and we're getting all of our green out for you! Come see if there's a fabric you need for seasonal decorations for your house. Also remember you could make some cute dresses and skirts so you don't get pinched!

We're also bringing out some bright, colorful fabric for Easter! If there are some Easter projects you would like to finish or still need fabric for, we have some great combinations waiting for you. Come check out the Eden line by Moda.

Gee's Bend Quilts at the Nevada Museum of Art

The women of Gee's Bend have demonstrated how much tradition there is to quilting. These beautiful quilts are now internationally esteemed and is being respected as "miraculous works modern art".

We currently have the Gee's Bend line by Windham Fabrics and many kits available!

The Nevada Museum of Art is having an exhibition on Gee's Bend Quilts starting February 6th through April 11th. This will be a wonderful show for all to visit and experience!

We would really like to encourage you to take the time to see A Survey of Gee's Bend Quilts at the Nevada Museum of Art. Admission prices for the gallery are as follows: $10 for General Admission, $8 for Student/Seniors, $1 for Children 6 to 12 years, Free for Nevada Museum of Art Members, Free for High school students enrolled in Washoe County School District with valid school I.D., Free for Children 5 and under. The gallery hours are Wednesday – Sunday: 10 am to 5 pm, Thursdays: 10 am to 8 pm, and closed Mondays, Tuesdays and national holidays.
